Hearken & Hear! The years of unknowing have concluded. . .we're going to England. Surprisingly, I'm feeling remarkably calm about it all. And liberated. After four years of living in New Jersey, knowing we wouldn't stay, I can answer the question of "What next?"
Still, it's an unknown move for me. Jason was only in Leeds for a few days, during which he was wooed & interviewed by the philosophy department. We don't know precisely where we will live, which school Cami will attend, what accent Cami, Graham & Rose will have, or how I'm going to make friends. Or if I'm going to walk around for nine months of the year staring at a full-spectrum light bracelet.
But we know it's a good move for us. So, cheerio!

I am so happy for you! I think you will fit right in and do great in England. Good luck getting things sorted out for the move in the meantime.
Welcome to the blog world. I am so excited and jealous about your move... although it is hard to think you will be that much further away. But just think... you will get to see all the BBC shows (Doctor Who - especially) a year before those of us in the states . :)
We love you guys and are so happy about this new step for you.
Erika, we won't be watching BBC, because TV is taxed in the UK. And we haven't watched TV in the States since we left Pullman (remember, we couldn't even get reception in Albion & nothing has changed in any of the other places we've lived.) So, unless you really want us to be recording & sending you Dr. Who, we'll save the money on the TV we never see anyway :)
Personally, I'd rather skip out on the TV & see you in person during our yearly (or so we plan now) trips to the States.
I can't wait to hear about all of your adventures. You are going to love it (most of the time!). :)
