Summer Tradition

Summertime means strawberries. Moving to England means a shorter, later season. But that season is now & the trip to the pick-your-own-patch was today. Supper was German pancakes with strawberries -- yum.

We went picking this weekend too! I'm trying to decide what to do with all our cherries. In the pics, Graham looks almost as tall as Cami. Is that possible?

Yum!! I had german pancakes for the first time this weekend...we were too poor for strawberries on top but used canned peaches instead...still very tasty.

Ted says "beautiful strawberries & beautiful kids"! I think it looks like you all had a really fun day. Those strawberries are awesome! The last pictures I have of Graham at strawberry picking time, he was still in a stroller, now he's a big boy picking on his own! Very much appreciate the post!

Hooray for strawberry season! We're just in the beginning of blueberry season here, but there's nothing quite as marvelous as fresh, bush-ripe strawberries.
