It's Not For Camping

Graham loves numbers. LOVES them. So, yesterday he decided to count to 100 for a bunch of educational professionals. He got to 40 before they told him that he'd done well, but that the meeting needed to end. (I just snickered the entire time.)

This morning Jason invited Graham to count up to 100 for him. Everything was going exactly the way you would expect, until:

"Ninety-eight, ninety-nine, tenty."

"Tenty? You mean one hundred."

"No, tenty. It comes next."

The boy's got logic on his side! If nine with a zero behind it is "ninety", then a ten with a zero behind it should be "tenty"! Good job, Graham, for counting to 100!

^^I was gonna say the same thing. He's got the pattern down! My dad laughed when at 23 months, I counted past 10 and said "eleventeen and twelveteen." But my mom was like, "yeah buddy."
